I have a porsche boxster 3.2s and everytime i lock the car it bib’s once? I have tried re-closing the boot/bonnet/windows & hood but nothing works?

It is a factory installed security

This tells you that your car is now secure, locked up and it is safe.

I own 3 vehicles that do the same thing.

You can take it to a audio shop and have them bypass the honk if you really dont like it, but I would recommend leaving it on, and I would also recommend a new alarm system something that will chirp when activated, just another noise letting you know it’s activated

I know it depend on the car condition, if it was good maintained and I bought it, is it cost too much for regular maintenance, does it have bad brake down history in a certain thing like electronics or machinery? any tips of information it will help my.

It’s a Porsche. It might be real fun to drive and cruise around in, but it will be in the shop a lot. And it will cost a boatload of money to get anything done to it.

Question by : Will it be expensive to maintain a 1999 porsche boxster?
I’m thinking about buying a porsche but the closest porsche dealer is 100 miles away. Will I be able to service it at a regular place or will it be super expensive.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Maintenance for a Porche is like like maintaining any other car. If it is under warranty you will have to get it fixed at the dealer. Other than that it all depends on how much you can do on your own. If the regular place guy is shady he will see a Porche and jack up the price on you so be careful. In the end though with the kind of money you will be laying down for one of those it had best not need that much work done on it.

The engine temp starting to go up and when I got home there had been some significant water leak out of the car it smelled like coolant, so I filled the coolant and started the car there is a noise like the pump might be going out and it is leaking while I ran it in my my driveway for a few minutes.

First have the system pressure checked. That will tell you where it is leaking. However, if you can see the pump leaking, it is time for a new one. Water pumps have an internal seal that will leak when the pump is extremely worn. While not an easy or cheap job, that pump is the heart of your engine’s cooling system.
